![]() It is about the fact, that the abomination had a concept that was "good" because while it limited your skillset it gave you the option to transform into another skillset at the same time. until something like this is done I'll have to limit Abomination-usage to sure-win-missions only :/įigbyfigbyfigby while I can see where you are coming from, but you are kinda missing the point here: its not about leaving at the right moment or how you interprete the abomination as a character. The most fitting solution would be to allow Manacles to be used from the first position, providing the Abomination a viable 1st position move I'd say, but well. Abomination does not have the option to do so, which should have been adressed in the rework in my opinion. ![]() I understand that there are things you just "have to deal with" in Darkest Dungeon but with every other hero this case could have been solved by giving them a skill that can be used in the first row (yes, this needs to be done before the fight but there would be a "possibility" at least to handle the situation) and hit the first row. Which leads to the problem: Abomination is the ONLY class that has no ability whatsoever to hit the first rank, outside of his transformation, which was reworked to only be usable once per fight. ![]() Then he got hit with a crit, got afflicted, which forced him out of his transformation. Not a problem until that moment due to the fact that he was transformed. Things went wrong and in the last roomfight of the mission the 3 dudes died, leaving the abomination alone. Had a team of 3 dudes + abomination I sent into the ruins, all level 0. I recently realized something about the Abomination, the story went as follows:
